We welcome visitors and guests to Toastmasters International - District 65, spanning an area about 200 miles wide and 100 miles long in the upstate region of New York State. We currently have over 90 active Toastmasters Clubs with 1,600+ membership located in 40 towns and cities between Buffalo in the west to Utica in the east, from Oswego in the north to Binghamton in the south.

We are ready to serve you as an individual or an employee of an organization in improving your Communication and Leadership skills. By becoming a member in an existing Club near you or starting a new Club in the community you live or in the place you work, we are prepared to assist you in bringing the benefits and rewards of the Toastmasters program. Yes, we are in the business of improving people's lives, positively. Our 'Club Extension Specialists' are strategically located in the four metropolitan cities of Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, and Binghamton to assist and guide corporations, community groups and organizations who are eager to start new Clubs in their neighborhoods and in communities where they live.

Whether you are a college student, a stay-at-home mom or dad, a senior citizen, an office or factory employee, a manager or a professional, Toastmaster's communication and leadership programs will provide you with the tools you need to succeed in your personal and professional life. It will enhance your public speaking abilities, improve your essential listening skills and enable you to make professional presentations in front of increasingly larger audiences. In addition, you will transition in becoming an aspiring leader at your work place, in the community in which you live, and among your peers. The Toastmasters program has benefited over 3 million men and women since its inception 82 years ago. We currently have over 200,000 active members in approximately 90 countries. Our worldwide network of 10,500+ Clubs (and growing each day), generate an aura of congeniality, fellowship and dynamism. Our District 65 has been serving the communities of central, western, and southern New York State for nearly 60 years. The mission of the district is to ensure that all Toastmasters Clubs provide educational opportunities and their related benefits to all its members, extend the network of clubs in the district, and provide effective training and leadership development programs for club and district officers.

The Toastmasters program provides regular opportunities to develop original thoughts and practice positive words, and most importantly, calls for actions towards excellence.
