As we begin a new Toastmasters year, I want to wish each of you, and your clubs, a very successful 2007-2008.
I want to congratulate everyone for their efforts during the past year. Let's continue the success into the new year and have another great year for our members
and our clubs. By focusing on the needs of the members, we continue to grow. Remember why you joined Toastmasters, and think about how much it has changed you. Make it a goal this year to share that opportunity with at least one new person. Your club will benefit, the person will benefit, and you will benefit from sharing.

World Champion Lance Miller to Visit Liverpool - TONIGHT
Lance Miller, the 2005 World Champion of Public Speaking, will be presenting a seminar in Liverpool this evening (Tuesday, April 29). The location will be the home of the newest club in the Eastern Division, the Greenfield Toastmasters, located at the ITT Technical Institute, 235 Greenfield Pkwy, Liverpool. This is just off Buckley Rd.
ITT has graciously offered their facility. The gathering will begin at 6:00 PM, with the presentation beginning at 6:30, or shortly afterwards. The presentation on Monday in the Southern Division was over before 9:00, though Lance stayed to answer questions people had. They will provide coffee and cookies.
If you have never seen a World Champion, this is a great opportunity. If you have seen a World Champion, you already know this is a great opportunity. Bring a friend, family member, or fellow club member. I hope to see you there. |

This is at Cathy Shannon's request. The workshop is being sponsored by an organization to which she and another Toastmaster previously gave a seminar on presentation skills.
