Individual Recognition Award - July 1 - June 30
WHY DID YOU JOIN TOASTMASTERS? For most members it's because someone invited them to a meeting or maybe their boss told them to join. What about you? Have you done your part? Aside from feeling good about your contribution you can earn the following:
- The unique pin is for those individuals who sponsor five new members.
- The Gold Star pin is the reward for those sponsoring 10 new members.
- Toastmasters necktie or scarf is given to individuals sponsoring 15 or more members.
Talk up Toastmasters!
Encourage your club's members to invite as many guests to your club's meetings as possible. Consider conducting a special guest meeting in which you specifically discuss the benefits Toastmasters members receive as they participate in the program. Add five new, dual or reinstated members to your roster between February 1 and March 31, to receive a special Talk up Toastmasters! ribbon to display on your club's banner. The club will also earn a choice of one module from The Better Speaker Series, The Successful Club Series or The Leadership Excellence Series.
Beat the Clock!
Clubs adding five new, dual or reinstated members during the months of May 1 - June 30 receive a Beat the Clock ribbon to display on the club's banner. The club will also earn a choice of one module from The Better Speaker Series, The Successful Club Series or The Leadership Excellence Series.
The Smedley Award:
In Ralph Smedley's honor, can your club add five new, dual, or reinstated members between August 1 and September 30? By doing so you'll qualify to receive a Smedley Award ribbon to display on your club's banner. The club will also earn a choice of one module from The Better Speaker Series, The Successful Club Series, or The Leadership Excellence Series.
